Tnresults.nic.in TN SSLC Result 2018, TNBSE Class 10 results 2018 Tamil Nadu Board is likely to be announced today

Students who appeared for the exam for Tamil Nadu SSLC Results 2018 will be able to access the TNBSE Result on May 23 at 9.30 am.  The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) will announce the results on the official website of Tamil Nadu Board of Secondary Education.

Students who appeared for the exam for Tamil Nadu SSLC Results 2018 will be able to access the TNBSE Result on May 23 at 9.30 am.  The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) will announce the results on the official website of Tamil Nadu Board of Secondary Education.

The DGE conducted the exam for the 10th standard from March 16 to April 20 earlier this year. Over 9 lakh students appeared for the same exam last year. The usual subjects for the exam of TN 10th Class Result are Tamil Paper-I & II, English Paper-I & II, mathematics, science, social science and the optional Language.

94.4% students cleared the exams and girls outshone boys with the pass percentage of 94.5.

Here's how to check your Tamil Nadu Class 10 Result 2018:

1. Login to the official website of Tamil Nadu Board - www.tnresults.nic.in or www.dge.tn.nic.in

2. Enter your roll number/registration number, DOB and other required details in the respected fields.

3. Click on ‘Submit’

4. Your 10th result 2018 will be displayed.

5. Take a printout for future reference

Students need to keep in mind that the results published on the above-mentioned websites are for immediate information, they cannot be treated as original mark sheets.

Students are advised to keep their details like hall ticket or roll number ready so that they can easily access the results. Please also note that a lot of candidates trying to look results simultaneously may slow down the official website of the board. In such case, candidates are advised to keep calm and try again.

About Tamil Nadu Board of Secondary Education:

TNBSE was set up n 1910. It comes under the Department of Education, Government of Tamil Nadu. The streams offered from and till the secondary (class 10) level are the SSLC (Secondary School Leaving Certificate) stream, the Anglo-Indian stream, the Oriental School Leaving Certificate (OSLC) stream and the Matriculation stream.

The Directorate of Government Examinations was formed as a separate Directorate in 1975. The first secondary school leaving certificate (SSLC) examination was conducted in 1911. In 1980, it started the HSC examination. Every year, nearly 7 lakh students appear for both TN Board SSLC exams and TN Board HSC exams.
