RU increases seats for UG, PG courses by 10%

This increase will not be applicable on the subjects related to law curriculum

The university of Rajasthan has decided to increase the number of seats by 10 per cent for all under graduate as well as post graduate courses being taught by the establishment.

This decision was taken after the newly-appointed vice-chancellor, RK Kothari, held a meeting with all the heads of the department, as well as, the principals of colleges under the university. However, this increase will not be applicable on the subjects related to the law curriculum.It is also to be noted that the admissions, on this recent decision, will only be given to the students who had applied the same before the last date of application.

This step came after various student associations raised a demand for increase in the number of seats in all colleges under the university of Rajasthan.

The state government had also instructed the education body to increase the number of seats for under graduate courses by 20%.
