JEE Mains 2021: For the students preparing for engineering entrance examinations, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has brought out the syllabus for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2021 on its official website. Many students have been waiting for the popular engineering exam. They can now check what all will be covered in the syllabus for the JEE Main 2021 exam on the official website of the NTA: jeemain.nta.nic.in.

Through this portal, the candidates can download the syllabus for reference as they prepare for the examination. It is to be noted that today (January 23) is also the last date to fill the application form for the JEE Main 2021 exam in February. Those candidates who want to appear for the February examination should complete their application form and online registration by midnight as the portal will not accept the application after that.

The candidates need to pay their application fees online at jeemain.nta.nic.in by 11:50 pm tonight (January 24) for the successful registration of their form.

As for the syllabus, it was earlier announced that the topics for the JEE Main exam 2021 would remain the same. The syllabus would cover topics from both Class 10 and Class 12.

Keeping in view that the syllabus for the Board exams was reduced in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic and national lockdown, there will be a few internal options in the engineering entrance exam for the candidates so that they can attempt questions based on what they studied. Apart from the options, the number of questions to be attempted is going to remain the same.

To that end, a statement on the NTA portal said, "The NTA has decided to provide choices in one section (Section B) to cater to the decision of different Boards across the country regarding the reduction of the syllabus. However, the total number of questions to be attempted will remain the same (Physics – 25, Chemistry – 25 and Mathematics – 25), wherever applicable."
