JEE Main 2019: Last date to register for JEE Main 2019 is tomorrow on September 30, check jeemain.nic.in

The exam is scheduled between January 6 and January 20 and the results will be declared on January 31, 2019.

JEE Main 2019: JEE (MAIN) 2019’s first attempt registration is underway and the last day to apply is September 30th, 2018. All candidates who want register will have to visit official website jeemain.nic.in on or before Sunday. This year JEE Mains will be conducted by the NTA which will hold it twice a year. The last date of payment of fee is 11:59 PM through e-challan. The exam is scheduled between January 6 and January 20 and the results will be declared on January 31, 2019.

You can select four cities as per choice of paper 1 or Paper 2.

Steps to register for JEE Main 2019 

1. Visit official website jeemain.nic.in

2. Fill online application form on and note down application number

3. Upload scanned images of your picture and signature in JPG/JPEG format

4. Pay fee using SBI_MOPS and keep proof

5. Print at least four printouts as confirmation

What is the detailed timetable for two JEE(Main) Exam:

The online submission of application forms for JEE (Mains) would start from September 1 and be on till September 30.  The examinations would be held between January 6, 2019 to January 20, 2019 in eight different sittings and candidates can choose any one. The results would be declared in the first week of February 2019.

The online submission of application forms for the second phase of JEE (Mains) would start from second- week of February 2019.  The examinations would be held between April 7, 2019 to April 21, 2019 in eight different sittings and candidates can choose any one. The results would be declared in the first week of May 2019.

National Testing Agency sets up over 3404 Test Practice Centres across 662 districts in India. The test practice centres (TPC) will help JEE Main aspirants to register and practice the CBT free of cost. According to NPA, there will be over 2.72 lakh computers set up at all these TPC across. NTA has taken an initiative to help the JEE Main candidates who do not have access to computers or smartphones. UGC NET candidates can also use the facility of the test practice centres. According to reports, there are 689 TPCs in Kendriya Vidyalas (KVs) and 403 in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (NVs). 

The TPCs function for one shift on Saturdays - from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm and for two shifts on Sundays - from 11 am to 2 pm; 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

National Testing Agency (NTA) had released the JEE Main 2019 online mock test for candidates of both Paper I and Paper II. The candidates appearing for JEE Main 2019 can take the tests on the official website of NTA. The candidates would require to log in with their registered credentials. Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) MAIN will be conducted by the NTA from 2019 onwards. This Examination was being conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) till 2018. The online registrations for JEE Main 2019 April exam will commence from February 8, 2019, till March 7, 2019. 

Here is how you can download the JEE Main 2019 mock test: 

1. Log on to the official website  www.nta.ac.in 

2. Click on the “Mock Test” link given at the top of the homepage

3. Fill in your credentials and agree to instructions

4. Take the JEE Main Mock Test 2019  

NOTE: The application process for the online mock test commenced on September 1 and will continue till September 30. 

The NTA had also released the list of eligible candidates informing them about the alloted test practice centres. 

The online registrations for JEE Main 2019 April exam will commence from February 8, 2019, till March 7, 2019.

JEE Main 2019 is scheduled to be held from January 6 to January 20, 2019 for the first phase while the exam in April will be conducted from April 6 to April 20.

JEE Main is applicable for admission to NITs, IIITs and CFTIs participating though Central Seat Allocation Board subject to the condition that the candidate should have secured at least 75% marks in the 12th class examination, or be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th class examination conducted by the respective Boards. For SC/ST candidates the qualifying marks would be 65% in the 12th class examination. 

The total duration of JEE Main Paper I and Paper II will be 180 minutes as prescribed by NTA. JEE Main paper II is for Mathematics, Aptitude Test and Drawing. The drawing test will be conducted separately and will not be a part of the online mock test.
