IBPS PO 2018: IBPS PO Prelims 2018 call letter, admit card released on ibps.in, all details inside

IBPS PO 2018: Institution of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) released the call letters and admit card for the IBPS PO Prelims 2018 on its official website. The candidates appearing for the IBPS PO Exam 2018 will have to visit the official website ibps.in to download the admit card for the IBPS PO Preliminary Exams 2018. 

IBPS will be conducting, evaluating and publishing the results for this all India common exam which would facilitate the job for the position of probationary officer in public sector banks. The examination would be conducted in three phases - prelim exam and main exam, and those selected from the first two rounds will be screened through a final round of interview. They can then express their choice among the banks which have openings.

Banks include Allahabad Bank, Canara Bank, Indian Bank, Syndicate Bank, Andhra Bank, Central Bank of India, Indian Overseas Bank, UCO Bank, Bank of Baroda, Corporation Bank, Oriental Bank of Commerce, Union Bank of India, Bank of India, Dena Bank, Punjab National Bank, United Bank of India, Bank of Maharashtra, IDBI Bank, Punjab & Sind Bank and Vijaya Bank.

Important dates

Preliminary round: October 13, 14, 20 and 21

Main exam: November 18

Age limit: Anyone who is between the age group of 20-30 as of July 1, 2018 is eligible to apply. (OBC - + 3 years, SC/ST - + 5 years)

The candidate must fall in the age bracket of 20 to 30 years.

Exam pattern:

1. Preliminary exam:

English language- This section comprises 30 questions, 30 marks (20 minutes)

Quantitative or mathematical aptitude- This section comprises 35 questions, 35 marks (20 minutes)

Reasoning ability- This section comprises 30 questions, 30 marks (20 minutes)

2. Main exam:

Reasoning and computer aptitude- 45 questions, 60 marks (60 minutes)

General/ economy/ banking awareness- 40 questions, 40 marks (35 minutes)

English language- This section comprises 35 questions, 40 marks (40 minutes)

Data analysis and interpretation- This section comprises 35 questions, 60 marks (45 minutes)

English Language (Letter writing and essay) - This section consists of 2 questions, 25 marks (30 minutes)
