GUJCET 2021 Registration: Application process begins TODAY - check direct link, other key details

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) has started the registration process for Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) from June 23 (Wednesday). Candidates have to submit the application form before June 30. Eligible students can fill the application form from the official website, www.gseb.org.

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) has started the registration process for Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) from June 23 (Wednesday). Candidates have to submit the application form before June 30. Eligible students can fill the application form from the official website, www.gseb.org.  

GUJCET is conducted for students, seeking admission to Engineering and Pharmacy programmes in government and private institutes of Gujarat. The exam comprises subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology. The date of examination is yet to be announced.

Students wishing to take admission in these courses have to appear for the exam. Marks obtained in Class 10 will carry a 40% weightage in admission this year. Usually, the result of Class 12 board carries 60% weightage.

According to sources, “The announcement of GUJCET is likely to be announced once the exam for class 12 repeaters is over. About 1.5 lakh students are expected to take GUJCET this year.” Meanwhile, The Gujarat board has decided to conduct exams for Class 10 and 12 repeater students from July 15. A detailed exam schedule will soon be announced.

While filling in the application form, candidates will also have to fill all personal, academic, communication and educational details followed by uploading the images. Candidates have to upload the scanned images of photograph and signature in the prescribed format. There will not be any correction facility after the last date of the application form. Candidates must fill the application form carefully. Students are advised to check eligibility criteria before applying.
