In less than 48 hours, the CBSE Board exams 2018 for Class 10 and Class 12 will commence on Monday. The students appearing for these examinations are all geared up with there preparations. These exams are starting from March 5.

A single mark can get you admission in a reputed college and a stream of your choice, thus reminding you how important it is to perform well in these exams.

In the last one year, you have done everything you can to prepare yourself for this final day. So follow these tips last-minute tips to give your preparation a finishing touch:

1. PLAN: Prepare a timetable for yourself and prepare it in such a way that every subject gets covered. Jot down those topics that you studied reasonably well. Sticking to the plan is essential.

Give proper concentration to every subject, don't neglect it because it is not your choice. A lesser score in any one of the subject can bring down your overall performance.

2. CREATE STRESS-FREE ENVIRONMENT:  Do not worry at all. It is a phase that all of us go through and it's not your fault. Take multiple tests.Practice formulae, theorems, and derivations on paper.Life is a challenge, and an exam is a part of it, take the challenge and make a strategy to tackle it with ease. You must understand that this is not the time for you to realize what you haven't prepared for, this is the time to make the most of what you have prepared for.

3. AVOID GROUP STUDY SESSION: Maybe you retain more information if you are a part of group study session but you always learn better in a quiet setting. This also minimizes distraction and helps you to stay on focus.

4. STAY FOCUSED: Don’t try to cover literally everything in last few days.  Just revise what you have already done. If you try covering everything now, you won’t have time to revise what you have learned and second, you won’t be able to learn what new you are learning.

5. SLEEP WELL: The most important and most frequently overlooked aspect during examinations is sleep. Our brains are at their best when they are rested. If you sit for an exam while exhausted, you will have a much harder time recalling the information you had learned. You can study an hour or so a day to keep yourself focused and on-topic, but avoid working late into the evening.

6. STAY HYDRATED: Make sure to drink lots of fluids throughout the day and during the exams.  Avoid too much coffee or stimulant drinks. Eat regular, well-balanced, healthy meals.  If necessary, supplement your diet with a multi-vitamin to prevent getting run down.

7. SAY NO TO SOCIAL MEDIA: To begin with, the most important thing is to cut down your social media engagement during examination days. This because you get drawn into content that might be interesting, but isn’t relevant to your studies or purpose.

Wishing you All the very best for your exams.
