CAT 2017: Online registration to end today at 5pm; apply at iimcat.ac.in

Candidates will have to visit the official Website iimcat.ac.in and fill up their educational qualifications, exam centre preferences, etc.

After extension to five days, the registration for CAT 2017 will end at 5 pm on September 25 (Monday) as per the official notification.
Candidates will have to visit the official Website iimcat.ac.in and fill up their educational qualifications, exam centre preferences, etc. The registration can be complete online via credit or debit cards and net banking. Admit cards can be downloaded post October 18.

Steps to register for CAT 2017:

1. Candidate has to fill all the details mentioned to receive the User Id and Password.
2. He/She will receive the User Id in the registered email address and Password in the registered mobile number as SMS. Foreign candidates will receive both User Id and password on registered email address.
3. The candidate can login with the User ID and Password to complete the application for CAT 2017.
4. The entrant must provide Correct Name, Date of Birth, Mobile Number and Email Address as these details cannot be changed once the registration is complete.

Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Lucknow are scheduled to conduct the Common Admission Test (CAT 2017) on November 26 in two sessions.

CAT is taken every year by over two lakh students for entry to MBA courses across the country including prestigious IIMs.
CAT 2017 will be held across 140 cities and candidates will have the option of selecting four, in order of preference. 
This year, duration of the exam will be of three hours, according to reports. There will be three sections - Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Ability. Candidates will get exactly 60 minutes to solve each section. However there is a catch. Candidates can't switch to another section while solving a particular section. Some of the questions may not be MCQs, according to reports.
