It's not been a week since Anushka Sharma made her long pending dream come true. Just like Bollywood's fashionable sisters Sonam and Rhea Kapoor, PK actress also launched her own line of clothing line. But her dream project has got Anushka in trouble over plagarism charges.

Anua shka Sharma launched autumn-winter collection comprising 160 pieces to go on sale across India but some online reports suggest that some of the pieces from the extremely personalised collection are heavily inspired by an array of Chinese e-commerce websites. Specially the black bomber jacket with floral print, a pink bomber jacket, a parka and a tan trench coat with striped pants in monochrome have come under the scanner.

While acting and producing does take up a lot of her time, Anushka is giving it all for this project. “There were times when a two-hour long meeting went on for nine hours and I haven’t even realised it! That’s because I have enjoyed the process so much. And it’s a great feeling to have something you have created and can call your own, out there.”

While Anushka is aware that there will be comparisons made with the likes of Sonam, who has her own fashion label, the actress has no qualms about it,. “Some people’s job is only to compare, but we are confident about our designs, product quality, varied options, reach and distribution. It’s great; the more the merrier,” says the actress, who adds that while Sonam’s aesthetic values reflect in her clothes, she has her own sense of style and understanding of the market. “Plus, I believe that if you have belief in your product, you just have to go after it and make it happen. I don’t care about what others are doing. If that was the case, I would have done that as an actress too, but I haven’t.”

But now the actress' joy seems to be diluted by a copyright trouble coming her way.

When Mumbai Mirror contacted Anushka for a reaction, her spokesperson said, “Several discrepancies have come to light over the last two days and we are in the process of getting to the bottom of this. We will not stop at taking the most stringent action required to resolve the situation and will share more details when we have complete clarity on the matter.”
