Youth beaten to death in Shahdara

A youth was beaten to death by some unknown men with his face bludgeoned to hide his identity in Vivek Vihar area in Shahdara. The gruesome murder sparked panic in the area when the body was found on Thursday morning. The deceased, however, remained unidentified till late on Thursday night.

Police said that the body of the deceased youth, in his mid-twenties, was found inside a park with several injury marks on his head and other parts of the body.

According to police, they got a call from a passerby at around 5.30 am, informing them that a man's body was lying in a pool of blood. Soon after this, the cops reached the spot and rushed the man to hospital where the doctors declared him brought dead on arrival. They said that the man had no document or identity card so that his identity could not be ascertained.
