Youth attacks minor with glass piece after scuffle

A minor boy was injured with a piece of broken glass in East Delhi on Friday evening after he objected to some youths throwing water balloons at him ahead of Holi. The accused youths, who are minors as well, were apprehended after a case of attempt to murder was registered against them.    

The victim, Akshat Jain, was returning home from tuition classes with a friend, the police said. When he reached Bihari Colony, a few young boys geared up to attack them with balloons, to which they objected. A scuffle then broke out between the two groups, during which one of the boys slashed Jain’s cheek with a piece of a broken bottle.
