A social worker from southwest Delhi's Dabri area has filed a complaint against AAP leader Kumar Vishwas for using 'foul and disrespectful language' against woman on stand-up comedian Kapil Sharma's show.
The complaint was made by a woman, resident of Jeewan Park area in Dabri. She said that when she was watching Sharma's comedy show on TV, on July 1, with her daughters, Vishwas — who was the guest on the show — made the objectionable remarks.
"The woman in her complaint has claimed that Vishwas regarded women as objects, which was disrespectful. She stated that her daughters had also objected to this following which she gave a written complaint to the police," said a senior police officer.
Vishwas could not be reached for his comments.
No FIR was registered in this case and the police said they are verifying the complaint and the allegations.
