Vox Pop: In R.K Ashram, votes are fragmented between BJP and AAP

Kiran Bedi as chief ministerial candidate of BJP for Delhi has put many supporters of AAP residing around R.K Ashram in a dilemma. The people who are otherwise supporters of AAP leader Kejriwal are now giving a thought to BJP's CM candidate as well. However, as iamin tried to get the pulse of the electorate in the area, and it seemed that while some doubt Bedi's potential as a political leader, very few actually want to go with Congress this time.

"I will vote for BJP because the saffron party thinks for country. Kejriwal is just fooling public with his media gimmicks like roadshows. A lot of people come to enjoy that but that doesn't mean they will vote for Kejriwal. They are spectators like me. I think Kiran Bedi is the best CM candidate. Because of her administrative background, she is capable enough to handle Delhi's sensitive issues like women security.”

“Delhi ke liye Kejriwal theek hai aur Desh ke liye Modi' (Kejriwal is fit to become the CM while Modi is the right choice for PM). My choice is AAP. My husband who is a driver, used to get harassed by police everyday but when Kejriwal became CM, he was not harassed.'Haan par Kiran Bedi ka naam ane se AAP ke vote thode kam hojayenge'. (But with Bedi coming to the fray, AAP's votes will come down).

People are raising question against Kiran Bedi that why suddenly she joined BJP when already she had a link with BJP from last 10- 15 years. She worked against Congress as a bureaucrat with the support of BJP.
