A 40-year-old man was stabbed to death over petty issue in Mahindra Park area of North West Delhi on Thursday morning. Police have nabbed two people in connection with the case.
According to the police, they received a police control room at around 8:30 am informing them about dead body near Rasila Paints in Jahangir Puri area.
"A team reached the spot they found a body of male, around 40-year-old with stab injuries lying in a pool of blood. A case of murder under section 302 of IPC was registered at Mahendra Park, police station and investigation was taken up," said Deputy commissioner of police (northwest) Aslam Khan.
During investigation the deceased was identified as Tejpal who is a native of Etah, UP.
"It was further revealed that the deceased was working as a security guard at some factory in Delhi. A probe was launched and the duo accused were apprehended within 12 hours," said Khan.
The accused were identified as Kapil (19) while the other accused claimed to be a juvenile. Duo revealed that they had a quarrel over a petty issue with deceased after which in a fit of rage they stabbed him. The police have even recovered the knife, which was used to stab the victim.
