Two men, who used to con people by registering a fake packers and movers company on the internet, have been arrested by the Noida police.

The accused identified as Rajesh and Rajkumar had some contacts with an online service suggesting websites, which helped them register fake packers and movers firm which would con people of their belongings.

The arrest was made after a 31-year-old man has alleged that he was cheated by a packers and movers company whom he had booked to shift his valuables, worth more than Rs 10 lakhs including his car, from Noida to Pune. Mohit, claimed he had booked the services of the company on October 24, where the company promised to deliver the goods within four days but instead they disappeared.

According to victim, he was living in Sector 121 and work in an IT firm, he got transferred to Pune from Noida, so he took the contact number of movers and packers from Just dial and just dial provided the number of Rose packers and movers.

The victim also said that the accused always gave them the new date of delivery of goods and last time the victim talk to the accused company officials at Diwali time after that the miscreants switch off their phone.

"The accused had registered their firm as Rose packers and movers and their contacts in Just dial had also helped them to trap innocent people, we have recovered a car and seals in the name of Agarwal packers and movers," said the Senior Superintendent of Police, Ajay Pal Sharma.
