Irshad told the police that he had gone to eat parantha at an eatery where Hatim was also present. Hatim later walked up to him and grabbed a bite from the plate he was eating in.

Two persons were injured after a scuffle between them over sharing of a parantha turned ugly. The incident took place late on Saturday night in East Delhi's Trilokpuri area.
According to the police, the injured were identified as 19-year-old Irshad and 20-year-old Mohammad Hatim. Irshad told the police that he had gone to eat parantha at an eatery where Hatim was also present. Hatim later walked up to him and grabbed a bite from the plate he was eating in.
Irshad told him he would feed an animal but not him after which he got enraged and stabbed him with a knife. According to Irshad's claims, Hatim's family members also reached the eatery and thrashed him. On the other hand, Hatim told the police that it was Irshad who had attacked him with a blade and injured him. The duo was friends earlier but stopped talking.
The police officials register cross FIRs in connection with the case. Four persons have been named in the FIR. Two of them were arrested and later released on bail.
