Traffic snarl in North Delhi due to construction

North Delhi is expected to have traffic snarls throughout the day on Tuesday as the North Delhi Municipal Corporation will be constructing a grade separator on the Rani Jhansi Road to resolve the congestion problem in the area. Traffic will be diverted on Rani Jhansi road and Azad Market Chowk.

Arterial roads including Rani Jhansi Road, Faiz Road, Idgah Road, Boulevard Road, Zorawar Marg, Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Marg. The entry for commercial vehicles on the Rani Jhansi Road would be halted form 9 pm to 7 am on Tuesday.

The authorities have advised the use of Ring Road for the commuters travelling from South Delhi to avoid traffic snarl.

The Delhiites had also faced traffic snarls in January as the Lajpat Nagar flyover was shut for the commuters due to repairing process.
