Three men kill cousin over land dispute

In order to take revenge, three people killed their own cousins on Wednesday, early in the morning at around 7 am. The deceased has been identified as Vedpal, a resident of Dumdama, Sohna. The father of the deceased has lodged a complaint against his three nephews. The accused have been identified as Vikram, Sunder and Munder.

As per the police sources, there was an ongoing dispute over a piece of land between Hukum Chand (accused's father) and his brother. On Wednesday, while Vedpal was returning home from a morning walk, his cousins attacked him and fired bullet at him. He died on the spot.

The father of Vedpal told police, "I was having hookah and my son was roaming in the street early in the morning like every day. Suddenly, three sons of my brother came and shot him."

Based on the statement of Vedpal's father, the prosecution has been registered against the three accused. One of the accused, Munder has already been arrested but the other two accused absconding. The body has been sent to Sohna's civil hospital for postmortem.

"The search for other two accused is still going on," said a police official.
