Staff Selection Commission exam cheating gang busted, 4 held by Delhi Police

A well organised online cheating racket has been busted by the Delhi Police and four people have been arrested. The gang used online applications like team viewer to help candidates cheat in the online examination, conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC). The police team has recovered more than Rs 50 lakh in cash from the spot.

The four accused have been identified as Ajay (30), Sonu (31), Gaurav (24) and Paramjeet (24). The accused used to charge about Rs 5-10 lakh per student and guaranteed them of clearing the online examination. They Team Viewer to help candidates cheat in the Tier-1 examination of Combined High Secondary Level (CHSL) SSC exam.

The North Delhi district police along with Meerut Police jointly raided the residence of Harpal, who is currently working with the Sales Tax Department of the Delhi government. The raid was conducted after the Meerut Police received a tip-off regarding Harpal's involvement in the cheating racket.
