Haryanvi singer and rapper Rahul Yadav, who shot to fame with his song 'Chull' featured in the movie 'Kapoor and Sons', created ruckus on the Mehrauli-Gurugram Road late on Saturday night, after being stopped for drunk driving. Yadav is popularly known as Fazilpuria, after the name of his native village Fazilpur.

According to police, heavy deployment of personnel had been ensured on MG Road as Gurugram witnesses a lot of cases of drunk driving on weekends. "At one of the check posts, a white Mercedes Benz was stopped. The car had a temporary number plate. The driver, Fazilpuria, was found to be drunk," Inspector Pankhuri said.When asked to display his driving licence, the rapper produced a year-old challan, which had not been paid. "When queried about the challan, he started arguing aggressively with the officers," SHO, Sector 29, Vikas Kaushik said.

The police then impounded the vehicle and issued him another challan. Fazilpuria then left for his home in the vehicle of one his staffers.
