Explaining the details, Noida Authority, Officer on Special Duty, Santosh Kumar, told DNA that on Saturday, private agencies gave a presentation to the Authority. A decision will soon be taken by the Authority as to whom to hire.
The Noida Authority has now planned to rope in private agencies to keep an eye on private developers' realty projects. These agencies will, from time to time, give a report on the status of these realty projects to the Authority.
Explaining the details, Noida Authority, Officer on Special Duty, Santosh Kumar, told DNA that on Saturday, private agencies gave a presentation to the Authority. A decision will soon be taken by the Authority as to whom to hire.
When asked about the idea of hiring agencies, Kumar said that the Noida Authority has not enough manpower to keep an eye on each realty project.
"In tripartite meetings with the Authority, home buyers and their concerned developers, the developers gave a timeline for the completion of projects. But the Authority cannot rely on their words alone, as it affects lakhs of home buyers. Keeping that in mind, we will rope in four to five private agencies to check on the status of developers' projects," Kumar said.
After DNA reported that the Yogi government would take legal action against errant developers, the Noida Authority had issued notices to 24 developers on Tuesday. The Authority has also asked these developers to submit their action plan to render relief to home buyers.
Notices have been issued to Ajnara, Logix, Supertech, Omaxe, Unitech, Antriksh, Assotech (Windsor Court), Laureate buildwell, Divine India, Today Homes, SDS infratech, etc. The Authority said it is making all attempts to hand over flats to home buyers.
In this context on Friday a meeting of noted private banks representatives meeting was organised by the Noida Authority.
