Police nab man accused of businessman's murder

In a special drive to nab criminals across the city, the Ghaziabad police have arrested an accused involved in a case of a 35-year-old businessman's murder on Saturday from the Ghazipur border.

The accused identified as Bobby, said to be the main accused in the case, was arrested after a tip-off and was.nabbed at UP gate area.

"We got a tip off so we placed a check post near up gate. He was coming on his bike. He even tried to fire but was nabbed by the personnel." said Akash Tomar, SP, (City) Ghaziabad.

Bobby is said to be the sharp shooter of Dharamveer Sethi's gang. Also involved in many serious crimes. He is an accused in a double murder case, an attempt to murder case, and in a number of other cases of loot, extortion, kidnapping, and murder.

On Wednesday, a 35-year-old businessman was shot dead while his driver sustained bullet injuries after seven unidentified bike-borne miscreants opened fire at them near the Hindon river in Indirapuram of Vasundhara, Ghaziabad.

Police are conducting raids to nab the others.
