A minor argument during a game of badminton among friends led to firing in North-East Delhi's Jaffrabad area on Wednesday night. However, no person was injured in the incident and the bullet was shot at the shutter of a closed shop.

According to the police, the incident took place around 9:30 pm. As per the victim Azhar, he claimed that several rounds were fired, however, senior police officers said that only a single round was fired which also hit a closed shop.

Azhar said that the pellet of the bullet hit a labourer Munazir who was given first aid and discharged at the hospital soon after the incident. He also added that he was thrashed by the accused men as well.

Azhar resided with his family in the Vijay mohalla area in Jaffrabad. The police officials said that the fight started because of a minor argument over some children playing badminton in the area.
