Minor girl jumps off 7th floor of hospital building in Noida

A 15-year old girl allegedly committed suicide by jumping from the seventh floor of a building inside the district hospital at Sector 31 on Monday morning. The police said that they have not recovered any suicide note from the woman's possession.

According to the police, she was a resident of Nithari in Sector 31 and was mentally disturbed.

"I heard a loud cry. Initially, I thought some heavy object has fallen from the top but when I went and checked, a girl was lying down in a pool of blood," said Vikram Singh, the security guard.

The guard immediately informed the emergency ward and the doctors stated that they received the information of the incident at around 11.45 am but she had already succumbed to her injuries.

The hospital administration immediately informed the police and a team was sent to the spot and the body was sent for post-mortem.

However, questions at the security staff can also be raised as to how did the girl reach the top of the building. The police said that further action will be taken after the identity of the girl is found.
