Man held for kidnapping Chennai-based bizman

The Special Cell of the Delhi Police has arrested a 29-year-old man accused of kidnapping a Chennai-based businessman from the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA). The accused identified as Latif (29), a criminal from Mewat region, was carrying a cash reward of Rs 50,000 on his arrest. 

Latif had off late got active in Delhi and NCR again. In June 2015, he along with his five associates, identified as Mubarik alias Raju, Taarif, Muddassar, Ansar and Saddiq had abducted a Chennai-based businessman Shriram. 

Latif and his gang members used to publish advertisements of scrap items in newspapers to attract wealthy scrap traders in the national Capital, but later the group would abduct businessmen and demand ransom in return. 
However, Shriram was fortunate enough to get away from their hands.
