Kejriwal's Kaushambi house centre for AAP's online campaign

At a time when social media is all over the place and actually making a difference in the way people think and decide, the political parties are using it as a tool to woo the voters in every possible manner. Ahead of the Delhi assembly elections, the online campaign has become the main promotional tool. The political parties are trying to reach each and every voter possible through the social networking sites particularly the youth.

While every party is using Facebook, Twitter and other social networks, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is apparently leading when it comes to online campaigning. The party's Facebook and Twitter accounts are more active than any other party's account, be it BJP's or Congress. There are around 70 Facebook pages of AAP and the same number of twitter handles also.

And the place from where this all is being scripted and placed online is none other than a small room from the house of AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal at Kaushambi, Ghaziabad. The room serves as the main centre for AAP's online campaign for the Delhi polls. AAP's internet radio 'Mango Radio' is also being run from Ghaziabad. Its reach is all the assembly constituencies of Delhi.

Sumit Negi, who is one of the members of AAP's online team in Ghaziabad left his job as an engineer in Bangalore in year 2011 to join AAP. Explaining about AAP's online campaign, Negi said that all content posted on AAP's Facebook pages and twitter handles are posted from Delhi but the content for that is produced by them.
