Sacked Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Kapil Mishra unleashed a torrent of personal attacks on party Chief Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday, saying he was the only Chief Minister in the country who "works the least, takes most holidays, and is on his way to become the most corrupt".
The former Water Minister in Kejriwal's Cabinet further claimed that the CM has gone to his office only twice in the last one year. "When did Kejriwal last go to his office? When did he climb the Secretariat stairs? The people of Delhi probably have no idea that their CM has gone to office barely two days in the last year," he stated on his blog on Twitter.
"In the entire country, he is the Chief Minister who meets the public the least, the one who goes to the office the least, the one who has no portfolio, the one who works the least, the one who takes the most days off. Soon, he will be the CM with the most corruption cases against him," Mishra wrote.
Mishra, who was suspended from the party for levelling serious corruption allegations against the AAP government and Kejriwal, said, "The CM has just one response to all questions — criminal silence. He hasn't spoken and won't either, because soon the public will speak."
"He kept quiet even when his relatives were being raided and corruption cases against him were surfacing every day. He came out of his home after days, only to watch 'Sarkar 3'. How shameful is that!" he added.
Last week, Mishra had started an indefinite hunger strike, demanding that the AAP Chief "reveal" the source of funding of foreign trips taken by five AAP leaders — Sanjay Singh, Ashish Khetan, Raghav Chadhha, Satyendar Jain, and Durgesh Pathak — in the last two years. The fast ended when he fainted while speaking to the media on Sunday.
