Investigating Officers undergo training programme in Shahdara

A batch of investigating officers (IOs) of the Delhi Police underwent a training programme organised in Shahdara district to help them polish their investigating skills and gain further expertise in probing sensational cases of crime. They were also briefed about specific acts, laws and procedural changes which they would require while filing a case.

The session was hosted by senior officers from the district, including Deputy Commissioner of Police, Shahadra, Nupur Prasad.

Talking to DNA, Prasad said, "The IOs were briefed about the latest court orders/ directions in specific acts and laws, procedural changes to keep in mind before finalising any case. The checklist of do's was told to them in different sections of laws to complete the investigation of the cases so that the timely disposal could be done."

Apart from this, specific guidance, in particular wherever asked of the cases were given, the DCP added.
