Greater Noida: Junior engineers asked to submit construction details in their area

The three authorities have been asked its junior engineers to submit a report of all the construction work happened under them legally or illegally within 30 days after which the work will be monitored by the official.

It has come to the fore that officials from the authorities and the land mafias are hand in glove while purchasing land from farmers at a very low price and then carry out illegal constructions on them.

In the wake of the twin building collapse in the Shahberi village, the authorities have now taken the responsibility checking the rampant illegal constructions in their circle areas and all the junior engineers have been issued a letter regarding the submission of the list of containing details of illegal construction.

The junior engineers will have to give actual positions of their areas as of the constructed areas and plots. If after submission of the report, any land is illegal construction takes place, then they will face the consequence.

According to sources, some junior engineers alleged that senior officers are at fault as they take a lot of money and ask them to keep quiet about the same. While the senior officials get away with the enquiry and are later transferred, it is the junior engineers who face the heat.

Many villages lay between different sectors in Gautam Budh Nagar to develop this city. The master plan for Noida was made, 2031 and 2021 was prepared. With every passing year, the rates of such lands will become high.
