Flight operations of GoAir were affected on Saturday morning as the airline's server was reportedly down, leading to delayed check-ins. Officers said that the situation led to long queues and ruckus at the domestic terminal, that is already dealing with a space crunch.

The situation was reported during the early hours of Saturday, after which efforts to address the snag were carried out by the airlines' experts. "It began around 3-4 am and continued till Saturday afternoon. Many flight operations were adversely affected because of the slow pace of check-ins. The already congested 1D terminal was overcrowded and arrangements to minimise passenger inconvenience were made," said an airport official.

The technical glitch resulted in long queues at airline counters which further irked passengers but the situation was soon brought under control. GoAir stated that the Departure Control System was responding slowly which led to delayed check-ins for a significant amount of time.

"The issue was identified and resolved at the system provider's end. We regret the inconvenience caused to our customers," said an airline spokesperson.
