According to the police, the accused have been identified as Wasim, Shaukeen and Muksaheed, who had been assaulting the girl from the past one week.
The Ghaziabad police have arrested three men for allegedly molesting a class 9 girl and thrashing the girl's brother and father for interrupting in Rajiv Nagar of Khoda Colony on Sunday. The police said that have been arrested and sent to jail.
According to the police, the accused have been identified as Wasim, Shaukeen and Muksaheed, who had been assaulting the girl from the past one week.
Following the daily assault by the three, who used to follow her home from school and wanted to befriend her, she narrated the ordeal to her parents. On Sunday, the brother of the victim went to the accused to ask them to stop doing such an act.
The accused lost calm and went to the victim's house along with several other goons and attacked the family members with sticks. The victim's father and brother got injured during the attack.
" A PCR call was made by the locals and a team reached the spot and brought the situation under control. The three were arrested from the spot and the victims were rushed to a nearby hospital," said a senior police officer.
Police said that the victims were discharged from the hospital after first aid.
" We have booked the three under sections 354 (assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty), 323(punishment for voluntarily causing hurt) and 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace) of the Indian Penal Code and have been sent to jail," said a senior police officer.
The Hindu Yuva Vahini, a right-wing organisation reached the police station on Monday and demanded strict action against the accused.
A similar incident was reported at Khoda police station in which a girl has alleged molestation by two men. Police said that the accused are absconding and a team has been formed to arrest the accused.
