After Krishna's murder, these gangsters tried to kill members of the rival Kapil Sangwan alias Nandu gang and, in the process, murdered their gang members Vikrant in Gurugram, Dinesh at Najafgarh and Naresh at Bahadurgarh, Haryana. The investigations revealed that Vikas was the brainchild behind these murders.

On Saturday, specific information was received that Vikas will come near Uttam Nagar along with his girlfriend.

The alerted police personnel intercepted the car but instead four occupants of the car fired two rounds at them. The police asked the occupants to surrender but instead four male occupants of the Creta car got off and started running. They were later nabbed.

Vikas entered the crime world after Jai family members had a dispute and left the village and settled in Najafgarh. He wanted to take revenge and also as he was in dire need of money and ended up entering the crime world.

He met Mahal at jail in Haryana where he was serving jail time for robbing a truck.

In 2011, after his release from jail he started working with Varun Jangra a close aid of criminal Krishan Pehalwan of Najafgarh.
