According to the police, the victim has alleged that on June 3, she was lured to drink a spiked drink by two men who live on rent in her area
A 16-year-old girl has alleged that she was gang-raped by four persons for five days in the Dadri area. The incident took place on June 3, however, a first information report (FIR) was registered on Saturday night after she threatened to set herself on fire demanding justice.
According to the police, the victim has alleged that on June 3, she was lured to drink a spiked drink by two men who live on rent in her area. After which they took her to their rented accommodation and allegedly raped her for five days.
"The complainant has said that the two accused Gulvesh and Arman lured her with a spiked drink and then took her to her residence and were joined by two more unknown men who allegedly took turns to rape her for the next five days. Following the complaint filed by the victim, we have registered a case under section 376 D (gang rape) of the Indian Penal Code and relevant sections of the Protection of Children against Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act," said a senior police officer.
The victim has also alleged that the police denied registering an FIR when she approached them on June 8 and when on Saturday, she threatened to set herself on fire in front of the Dadri police station then only the police lodged a complaint. However, the police denied the victim's claims.
The police said that the four accused are on the run at the moment while teams have been formed to nab them. The police are also cross-verifying the claims made by the victim.
