With another racket being busted in the national Capital for allegedly operating 27 fake websites, which offered fake class X, XII and other graduate and postgraduate certificates, the Delhi University (DU) administration is going to ask all its colleges to verify admissions of their students and check that no one having marksheets issued by these websites should be enrolled with them.

The DU had recently red-flagged several admissions under two fake boards -- Board of Higher Secondary Education (BHSE) and Delhi Board of Secondary and Senior Secondary Education (DBSSSE) -- and the colleges to identify such admissions in their respective enrollment lists.

"The colleges have already been asked to scan their admission data and identify students having certificates issued by these two fake boards revealed recently. Now, with the re-evaluation of another gang operating 27 fake websites, the colleges will be asked to look for the admissions of students holding marksheets under them as well," a senior varsity official said.

The Delhi Police on Monday arrested a DU graduate along with two others for allegedly being involved in the fake degree business. The accused have been found issuing forged MBBS, B Ed, JBT, ITI marksheets and certificates along with school certificates from twenty-seven universities across the country.

Earlier in December last year, the Delhi Police had busted a BHSE racket for duping as many as 20,000 students across the country.
