The Delhi University (DU) announced its third cut-off list for admissions in various undergraduate programmes on Friday. Though most of the courses were closed, many popular courses like BA (Hons) Economics and BCom (Hons) were still open at many colleges, including some north campus colleges.
At the Hindu College, admissions were still open for BA (Hons) Economics, English, and B Com(Hons) for general category. The three courses saw a marginal dip of 0.25, 0.75 and 0.25 percent, respectively.
Though B Com(H), B Com, and various arts and science courses were closed for general category students, Economics (H) was still open at Kirorimal College at 96.25 per cent as against 97.25 per cent in the second cut-off list. Except for BSc Physical Science with Chemistry, all science courses were open at Ramjas College.
Most of the arts courses are also on at Ramjas and Hansraj Colleges, including English and Economics at 95.75 and 97 per cent, respectively. Though both the courses have witnessed a marginal dip, they are still open in several colleges, including Lady Shri Ram (LSR) and Gargi College.
Disappointing many students, admissions were closed in Sri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) for general category students.
Sri Venkateswara College was also open for all courses, except three. All the commerce and arts courses were open in Miranda House College except BA (Hons) Bengali, Geography, History and Political Science.
SGTB Khalsa College was also open for all arts and commerce courses on Friday. Of the ten, only two science courses were closed at the varsity. The college has witnessed very few admissions in the earlier two cut offs.
