According to the police, the accused have been identified as Manish and Vishal, residents of the same area, who were arrested for allegedly pelting stones at the priest after he refused to give then food.

A priest of a Baptist Church in Karol Bagh has alleged that he was attacked by unidentified persons, who pelted stones at him after they were stopped from eating at a function outside his house in Gulabi Bagh area of North Delhi. Police have arrested two men in connection with the case. Police said that the incident took place on the night of August 30.
According to the police, the accused have been identified as Manish and Vishal, residents of the same area, who were arrested for allegedly pelting stones at the priest after he refused to give then food.
Police said that the victim has been identified as Dinesh Das who told them that he was celebrating his daughter's birthday party at his residence and arrangement for food was made outside the house.
"The road was blocked due to the arrangements and the two persons wanted to cross the road. Later, they gatecrashed the venue and started to eat. When he stopped them and told them that they can have later, an argument broke out between them. The priest went to see off his friend near the gate it was then that started pelting stones at him," said Nupur Prasad, DCP (North).
Das sustained injuries on his head in the incident and based on his complaint, a case under relevant sections was registered and the two were arrested.
