Three members of Tillu gang were arrested after a shootout between the officers of the Special Cell and the gang members in Outer Delhi's Alipur area on Wednesday morning.

The police received an input that Manjit would be coming to the Qutub Garh bus stand to meet his associates. A trap was laid and he was taken into custody. He told the police that his associates will be coming to Budhpur intersection in the wee hours. The police spotted a white scooty with two persons on it coming from GT Karnal road. They were flagged down but instead they started speeding away. The police party chased them and then they left the bike and started running on foot. The gang members fired at the police officials and they retaliated. Nitish was hit on his leg while Mahesh was apprehended.
