Delhi teen suicide case | ‘I’m dumb, I’m a failure’: She wrote in book

“I am dumb, I am a failure”, wrote the class IX student in the last page of her notebook which went unnoticed by family, though neighbours said she never showed signs of depression.

The police have not found any suicide note. “But we found a notebook in which she has written that ‘I am dumb, I am a failure’,” said police official Akhilesh Tripathi.  “Family members have confirmed that it was her handwriting. They said that she was never depressed but the pressure of the teachers might have affected her.” Neighbour Vikram Sehgal said the girl was also a brilliant classical dancer. “Whenever I visited their house, I always found her studying. I have always seen her smiling.”
