A class 6th student was brutally beaten up by a teacher over homework in a private school of sector 53 in Noida on Tuesday afternoon.

Narrating the ordeal, the father of the student, Mahesh Sahu, a tempo driver said that they came to know about the incident when the child returned home at around 2:15 pm.

"He went to the school normally at around 8 am but when he returned home, we saw that the right side of his face had bruises and his ear was swollen," said Sahu.

While crying, the child narrated that in morning, one of the teachers asked him about his homework to which he replied saying that he had forgotten his notebook at home.

"The teacher got agitated and started thrashing him in front of the whole class. When he returned home, we took him to the hospital and informed the police also," Sahu added.

Sahu further said that his child has not eaten since the incident and is in continuous fear. "He had locked himself inside the room and fears to come out. He is not even speaking to anyone," added the father.

However, the police said that they called the accused to the police station and both the parties have mutually sorted the case. No FIR was registered in the case.
