As allegations by Delhi Chief Secretary Anshu Prakash and counter allegations later by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA's continued through the day in the Capital, the Delhi Police received complaints from both the sides.

A case was registered on the complaint of Prakash at Civil Lines police station whereas another case, on the complaint of AAP MLA's, was registered at IP estate police station.

Prakash, in his complaint to the police, alleged that he was manhandled and assaulted by AAP MLA, Amanatullah Khan and another MLA while he was seated between the two of them in the presence of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal at his residence during a meeting.

The CS, in his complaint, stated that the advisor to CM, VK Jain telephonically informed him about the meeting at midnight with Kejriwal and Deputy CM Manish Sisodia at the CM's residence to discuss the issue of difficulty in the release of certain TV advertisements relating to completion of three years of current government.

In a separate complaint, AAP MLA Imran Hussain, who was entering the Delhi Secretariat on Tuesday afternoon, alleged that he was assaulted and manhandled. "I was confined in the lift and after great difficulty managed to get out. The employees inside stated that the CS has told them to take revenge. My staff was also manhandled. They threatened to kill me and also abused me," added Hussain in his complaint.

A team has been formed to probe both the cases.
