In a suspected case of a gang war, the Delhi police have arrested an accused who committed a murder just after he was released from the jail.
The arrested accused was identified as Md Kausher (27) who was previously involved in a dozen cases of robbery, burglary, theft, Arms Act including a murder and an attempt to murder case, said the police.
On the intervening night of November 7 and 8, a PCR call was received regarding gunshot injury to two men at Hastal Road, Uttam Nagar. It was found that two men had received gunshot injuries and were shifted to DDU hospital. The injured stated that one of his known Kausher has fired upon himself and his friend Azaad following an argument.
The victims were also involved in criminal activities and were associated with Md. Gauri gang. Both gangs often cross the swords to establish their supremacies. Several traps were laid at several places during the drive to arrest the criminal.
Following a tip-off the accused was arrested Tuesday. A pistol along with two live rounds was recovered from him.
During interrogation, he disclosed that as his girlfriends always taunted him for lack of money he jumped into the crime world started committing theft, burglary and robbery.
He has also been convicted for the imprisonment of seven years in a robbery case and was released from jail in October after coming out of jail he wanted to ascertain his supremacy in the area and roamed in Uttam Nagar with a pistol.
