Delhi: Four nabbed with 180 bottles of imported liquor

The Geeta Colony police apprehended four persons and seized 180 bottles of imported liquor, namely "Black Label Whisky" and "Absolut Vodka".

The liquor is made in Scotland and Sweden and was being circulated in the Delhi and its national capital region in luxury vehicles. The vehicles — a black Toyota Fortuner and a white Honda Amaze — carrying the illegal liquor and were also impounded. A case under Section 33/38/58D of the Delhi Excise Act has been registered in this regard at the Geeta Colony police station. The accused have been identified as Paramjeet alias Pammi (58), Parvinder (52), Varun (20) and Rakesh Marwah (40). Paramjeet is previously involved in two similar cases in 2012 and 2015. Further investigation is going on.
