Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal ended his eight-day long sit-it at Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal's house on Tuesday. Kejriwal along with Rural Development Minister Gopal Rai came out of the L-G house after the IAS officers attended the four important meetings held in Delhi Secretariat on Tuesday.

The political drama that had entered the ninth day on Tuesday with BJP leaders along with rebel Minister Kapil Mishra protesting outside the office of CM ended with all the leaders moving back to their respective offices.

"We have nothing against IAS officers, 99% of them are good people, we have worked with them to improve governance in Delhi. They were just a front for interference in AAP government by the central government and the L-G," said Kejriwal addressing a gathering of MLAs and party functionaries at his home.

Kejriwal on Monday made an appeal to the officers to end their "strike" and suggested to have a formal discussion in the presence of the L-G. The officers, in return, replied to him on a positive note.

Kejriwal along with deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, Satyendar Jain and Gopal Rai were protesting against the "illegal strike" carried out by the IAS officers in the capital for the last four months. The team of ministers had gone to the L-G house on Monday evening last week seeking an appointment from Baijal. As L-G refused to meet them, two of the Ministers- Sisodia and Jain went on a hunger strike. They were then shifted to the hospital as their health deteriorated.

"We did not have any fight with the IAS officers. Today we got feelers that the officers have been directed to attend meetings. We hope that the officers will continue to attend the meetings with ministers," deputy CM Manish Sisodia said at a press conference at his residence.
