The camp office of Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, located in east Delhi's Vinod Nagar (E), was burgled on Friday. Burglars decamped with a computer CPU, I-pad, reports, documents, and a letter pad with official stamps.

According to the police, who were informed around 9 am, the incident took place late night. The burglars cut through the lock to gain entry to the premises of Sisodia's Patparganj office.

While leaving, they also tampered with the CCTV footage installed in the office and took the digital video recorder with them. Police are trying to trace the accused via location detection installed in one of the devices.

"The Centre should look into the deteriorating law and order situation in the national Capital. All kinds of crime, including rape and other offences, are on a rise. Today, the Deputy CM's office also fell victim to it," said Sisodia.

"Police are trying to trace the accused via location detection installed in one of the devices. A case under appropriate sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) has been registered at the Pandav Nagar police station," said DCP (E) Omvir Singh
