Angry over an article in National Herald for hurting Hindu sentiments, the Delhi BJP on Monday has lodged a complaint with the Delhi Police. Earlier on Sunday, the National Herald newspaper published an article and later tweeted "are our epic replete with #MeToo Sagas?"

"The aforesaid tweet and article published in a news paper of National Herald, which is the mouthpiece of Congress party, indulges in malformation and false hood about Hindu religion, its epic like Ramayana and Mahabharat and intends to insult and vilify Hindu religion. Not only the article spreads hatred against lord Rama, but also intends to portray women characters of aforesaid religious epics via Sita, Draupadi and Madhavi in a very negative light by portraying them as "Object of lust".

Infact, the tweet through the aforesaid article terms Madhavi, the woman character of Mahabharata as "sex object"," said the Delhi BJP media head, Neelkant Bakshi and Ashok Goel Devraha, Head Media Department in their written complaint to the Delhi Police on Monday.
