Delhi: 18-year-old gang-raped by two, police nab one suspect

An 18-year-old girl has alleged that she was gang-raped by two people including her friend in East Delhi’s Madhu Vihar area.

The girl alleged that she was taken in a car by her friend and given a cold drink laced with a sedative and raped near NH 24. She told police officers that incident took place on July 9.

She was left at an isolated place from where she went back home and repeated the oreadl to her mother. A complaint has been registered at Madhu Vihar Police station and a medical test has confirmed the rape.

One of the accused, identified as Sachin has been arrested, while the hunt is on for the second suspect.
