Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, however, did not go to his office at the Delhi Secretariat due to health issues. He is likely to leave for Bengaluru on Thursday to join a ten-day naturopathy course to control his blood sugar level, officials at the CM's office said.
Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia told reporters that the government had started work. "The work is going on a fast pace. All the IAS officers attended meetings called by the ministers," he said.
Sisodia, who is incharge of the Education Department, announced the introduction of "happiness curriculum" for students of Delhi government schools from July, after a review meeting with officials.
The ministers tweeted pictures of meetings held by them and claimed that all the officials concerned were present there.
Jain, incharge of Urban Development, Health and PWD departments, held meetings with officials. Environment Minister Imran Hussain also held meetings with senior officers on status of air pollution, review of landfill sites and other matters.
Flood Control Department Minister Gopal Rai also reviewed desilting of drains prior to the monsoon, along with officials of his department.
The officials of Delhi government continued with their silent protest that had started after the alleged assault on the chief secretary by AAP legislators at Kejriwal's residence on February 19.
The IAS AGMUT Association tweeted pictures of the protest by officers, saying, "#DelhiChiefSecretary 5 minute silent protests continue on."
Kejriwal along with his Cabinet colleagues Sisodia, Satyendar Jain and Gopal Rai sat on dharna at the office of Lt Governor Anil Baijal on June 11, demanding his intervention to end IAS officers "strike".
The impasse involving AAP government on one hand and Lt Governor Anil Baijal and bureaucrats on the other, was broken after Kejriwal assured the officers of "safety", calling them as family.
The IAS officers who denied on being "strike" responded by attending meetings called by ministers.
Baijal had yesterday written to Kejriwal asking him to meet the IAS officers "urgently" to address their concerns.
