A 25-year old labourer working at a construction site in Central Delhi's Jama Masjid area was shot at by two bike-borne assailants. The police are yet to identify the accused, however, a few people have been picked up for questioning.

According to the police, the labourer, identified as Rehman, worked at builder Mateen Ahmed’s site. At10 am, two bike-borne assailants opened fire three rounds at Rehman at the construction site. The assailants also asked him to inform Ahmed that this was just a threat. Rehman sustained bullet injuries on his abdomen and leg.
