Students who were thinking of changing schools are in a dilemma as they do not know how would they apply in another school as they claim the admission process would be delayed now.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) paper leak has put on halt many plans that the students had made once their board examinations got over. Holiday plans that stand cancelled, fear of new exam dates clashing with entrance tests, endless tuitions, and most of all the phobia to write the board exam again, students of Class X and XII are staring at various uncertainties.

Few students awaiting their fate as the CBSE had earlier stated that if at all the exams are re-conducted, it would be in Delhi and Haryana only.
Aujaswi Maken, Class X student and Delhi Congress chief Ajay Maken's son, talking about the chaos, said, "We are really disappointed. The CBSE chairman was aware of the leak of Maths paper a day before the examination. They should have cancelled the paper earlier itself. Many of us had plans to go for a vacation, but the plans stand cancelled now."
Vanshika, a Class XII student, who has to reappear for Economics paper, said,"My filmmaking entrance exams are clashing with the tentative dates being announced by the CBSE."
Nikhil, Class XII student from Amity International School, Gurugram said, "I used to spend 16 hours every day to prepare for the exams. And then you come to know that papers have been leaked. What is the guarantee that the re-examination will not be tampered with? If our system is flawed, what is the fault of students?"
Anisha Jain, Class X student from Delhi, said, "If such an incident happens, there should be a re-exam, but the energy levels of students will not be same as before."
