The BJP's Dhol Andolan that started last week to "save Delhi" from Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, will be introduced in the slums and JJ clusters of the city from Sunday. Union Minister and former Delhi BJP President Vijay Goel said that he will give a "clarion call" against the Kejriwal-led government from Daya Basti Jhuggi Jhonpri, Near Usha Mata Mandir, at Inderlok.

"The Aam Aadmi Party government is persistently fooling people living in slums and JJ clusters over the issue of water and electricity. The truth is that these dwellers do not pay water bills as they get their supply from water tankers or hand pumps. So, it is clear that they do not have to pay bills because their are no meters installed at their houses," he claimed. The minister also said that jhuggis in the national capital face major infrastructural issues with regard to drainage, pavements, roads, and sewers. These problems have been overlooked by the Delhi government, Goel said.

"The JJ Clusters also suffer from the menaces of alcoholism, drug abuse and gambling. Such things affect the youth in the area. The Kejriwal-led government consistently raise the issue of drug abuse in Punjab. However, it does not even care to raise the problems gnawing at the city's existence," Goel said. He further added that a survey on drug abuse will be conducted in Daya Basti. He said he will continuously visit these slum areas and "uncover" the truth of the Kejriwal government. "The conveners of the programme will visit every nook and cranny of Daya Basti to spread mass awareness and will also contact local leaders, civil societies and organisations that are working locally having similar objectives and goals," the senior leader said.
